Water Financing

Governments provide 91% of the world's water spending; private capital under 2% - the widest financing gap in infrastructure. The instruments to close it exist: blended finance, blue bonds ($15 billion issued and doubling yearly), utility programmes like the UK's £104 billion plan, and desalination financed against long-term water purchase agreements. What makes a water project bankable? Certainty about the resource. A located, quantified, rechargeable groundwater source is a different credit from a hopeful borehole - and that certainty is what WFS exploration provides, on the first page of any financing memorandum.
